Episode 40: Lordy, Lordy, we are at 40 (Black Panther).
Steve and Dug discuss Black Panther and also a couple creature-features from the 1980’s: The Thing and Little Shop of Horrors. Full spoilers for all of those.

This post contains minor spoilers for Black Panther, in case you care.
Once again, a Marvel Studios film has come smashing into the box office. This time it’s the first comics Black Superhero – Black Panther. You knew that already if you are reading this, but you are supposed to fill in this space with some sort of intro text.
It’s just what you do.
Steve and Dug rundown the trailers they remember from the Super Bowl, and they get side-tracked by the Last Action Hero. Steve also recounts his Super Bowl commercial experiences.
Listen in as Steve and Dug remember friend and filmmaker Tim Vandesteeg, who passed away earlier this year.
Plus some Marvel Studios and Star Wars banter and shocking Care Bears toy realizations.
Happy 2018!
Listen in as Steve and Dug chat about the 10(ish) movies and TV they liked the most from 2017.
Steve and Dug chat about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Much like the Jedi in the Star Wars films… they are conflicted. Despite this being explained and constructed as a “bonus episode”, it’s really just the weekly one.
Steve and Dug continue the chatter on the Disney/Fox deal because it is actually official this time. Also, thrill as the Walking Dead Mid-season finale is disemboweled by the nerdy brothers.
Steve and Dug spend most of this episode talking (spoilers) about the Netflix Punisher TV show. Before that, they ponder the ramifications of the heavily-rumored Fox purchase by Disney and the Infinity War trailer.
Steve and Dug saw Justice League and talk about it. Also, Infinity War (and beyond) speculation. What will happen after the untitled Avengers 4?
Of course, they rant about The Walking Dead as well.
Here is what we thought of Marvel Studios’ Infinity War trailer. What did you think?
My over-simplified, overall reaction:
It’s good!
Well they did it. Dug finally gets mad at The Walking Dead. Plus a report on seeing the comedy styling of Emo Phillips live at the Acme Comedy Company, and a bit about the Takia Waititi film: Boy.
Another Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is tearing up the Box Office, and of course it has some end credits sequences. Two this time, which seems to be the minimum these days. Let’s get into what they were and what they meant!
SPOILERS for Thor: Ragnarok obviously follow.
Thor: Ragnarok is out! Steve and Dug talk non-spoilery about the wacky, zany fun from director Taika Waititi. Steve then gets mad at stuff for the rest of the episode (including The Walking Dead), before they return to a well-marked spoiler section about Thor 3.
Happy Halloween! Steve and Dug join you on this spooky day to talk about Stranger Things 2 (full of spoilers), the return of The Walking Dead, and what movies scare them.
